    Hi,

Can you upload sample somewhere ? and also did you try on 1.2.0RC ?
    Thanks,
    Seb.

I think I've found the bug - please try the attached dshowhelper.dll (close MP, back up the one in 'C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal' and drop in the new one).

(I can't test the fix because I don't have a file with the problem)

EDIT: attachment changed, realised there was still a potential problem.

    Tony

(Technical - there's an operand size mismatch in the 'PresentImage' callback parameters, so I've put in a workaround to make sure the aspect ratio numbers don't exceed 32767....)

I attached a sample mkv which I did it over remote desktop with mkvmerge. I hope the SAR value is kept. I can't try 1.2.0RC right now, I'm not home until about another week or so.

Thanks for trying to fix this problem/bug. :D

The sample plays OK, but the aspect ratio numbers:

    Code:
    04-09-2011 23:08:58.160 [2400]New format: 716x476, Ratio: 5728:3213

....won't trigger the bug, so it's not testing the new dshowhelper mod :)

Thank you, this DLL has fixed my problem as well. I'm on 1.2.1.

Will this fix become part of the next official release?
