    Hi

I have this problem for ages now. And i hoped to find the solution in updating mp, but it's still there.

When you see my log, i first started 2 times a video and went directly to livetv. And that worked. But the third time when i go over from video to livetv, i get a black screen and only sound.

Can someone look into my logs and give me a direction where to look for?

    Thanks in advance Oekie

    Hello Okie

The reason why you have a audio without video (black screen) is because the video is still encrypted.
We can see this in the TsReader log:
    [collapse]
    [2015-01-18 13:55:56,813] [ 6340f80] [ 600] - PES H264 0-0-1 fail
    [2015-01-18 13:55:56,900] [ 6340f80] [ 600] - PES H264 0-0-1 fail
    [2015-01-18 13:55:56,911] [ 6340f80] [ 600] - PES H264 0-0-1 fail
    [2015-01-18 13:55:56,943] [ 6340f80] [ 600] - PES H264 0-0-1 fail
    [2015-01-18 13:55:56,954] [ 6340f80] [ 600] - PES H264 0-0-1 fail
    [2015-01-18 13:55:56,954] [ 6340f80] [ 600] - PES H264 0-0-1 fail
    [/collapse]

Same message - which means that the video is encrypted - appears over and over again.

In my opinion this is a problem with the Digital Devices CI driver. The DD driver seems to ignore sequential requests to decrypt the same channel, which is what you do in your In your test:
    1. Video: 20 years after - a woodstock reunion concert 1989 dvd 1
    2. Video: Ben_Harper_and_the_Relentless7-Number_With_No_Name_(20090507)-Ma1215
    3. Live TV: Nederland 1 HD
    4. Video: Ben_Harper_and_the_Relentless7-Number_With_No_Name_(20090507)-Ma1215
    5. Live TV: Discovery Channel HD
    6. Video: Bob Dylan 63 65
    7. Live TV: Discovery Channel HD
If you had tested with Nederland 1 HD at step 7 then it probably would have worked.

    Does this make sense?

Please report the problem to DD.

    Regards,
    mm

    Hi Mm,

    Thanks for your quick reply!
It makes sense, but the strange thing is that this problem also occurred with my floppy-dvb-c card.
So that it would be a driver problem, i don't no. Maybe a tv card setting within mp?

    Regards,
    Oekie

Are you able to post logs to show this, or did you get rid of the FloppyDTV?
Often the symptoms can look the same but the actual cause can be different...

There is no setting that I can think of which would make any difference.
