Thanks, I know it was a system path, but I have seen for instance a german script where it needs to call c:\programme files\ and if I installed it in c:\program files\ the path was wrong.
And if I want a player to support both HD DVD and Blu-ray I should choose totalmedia?
Thanks for the answer!

    ?
You should to install the Program in C: \Programme.
C:\Programme is not a real directory, it's a link to "C:\programm files", only.

    Hi MoPhat and all

I have a small problem running dllfix.exe (Vista Home Basic) - it launches console and starts patching files and is immediately interrupted by Vista. If I run HD_starter.exe either from inside MP or from folder '...\Plugins\Windows' it shows a message 'Error at line 73 ... Invalid hotkey ...' and exits the program.

Is there any solution to this? Can I make necessary changes to I guess some .dll files manually?

    Thanks!

With Vista you must right-click dllfix.exe and click "Run As Administrator", or it doesn't have access rights to change the things it needs to.

Excellent patch - but i've got quite a severe problem. I'm not sure if the answer is in this thread though..it's massive! :(

Basically, the HD starter starts PowerDVD fine, but I think MP still has the focus even though its minimized. As when I press "play" I can hear the MP select noise instead and then a box pops up saying "another instance of HD starter is running" or whatever. So basically it looks like MP still has the focus. How can I stop it doing this?

    Thanks!

If it helps - i've got a hauppauge remote, and i've tried enabling "allow external processes to use the remote" but it still doesnt work.

Settings i can see that could affect it are set as follows:

MP always on top - ticked
MP to tray on gui exit - unticked

    notice:
the switch to 24p mode is done by CTRL+SHIFT+4 back to 50hz mode is CTRL+SHIFT+5!
You should define this profiles in you ATI Catalyst Manager, for NVidia i dont know how to do that

Is there anyone who can show me how to set-up these profiles in catalyst manager? I have no idea how to do that.

The plugin is working great by the way!!

Also, when viewing, how do you know which setting you have to use? I have a bluray disk (Earth) which in my opinion is a little bit schocking at playback. I have a feeling it is 24hz. But I have no way of knowing. So, my idea was to try this with these two profiles.

You just set the refresh rate as 24hz and then go into the profile manager and save it. It's a bit complicated to explain fully unfortunately.

    Hallo MoPhat
