2. The skin file provided in post #1 does not work with PowerDVD8. It is not shown in the combo list even though I have copied it to the \skin folder...

You can change the background image manually also (in PDVD config)

I'm new to the PowerDVD integration to MediaPortal, so I'm sorry if this has already been answered.
I have to PowerDVDs running 7 (HD DVD) & 8 (Blu-Ray). How do I get both these two versions into MediaPortal as plugin?
I read somewhere that the link on page 1 only were for old PowerDVD and also only for one application and not two as in my case.

The plugin works great for me with Mediportal 1.0.0 and PowerDVD 7.3 but I still have a problem : I don't know how to properly get the focus back on Mediaportal once the BD read is over : when I close PowerDVD MP is still minized (even if I said false to the Mediaportal minimize in the plugin configuration), and the HD_Starter is still running.
Any idea how to fix this ?

Edit : my fault, I need to read more carefully the first posts. I found the solution : I just needed to press the ESC key

Does anybody know how to map a MCE remote key to the ESC key?
I still have the problem that I normally use my MCE remote but in oder to return to MP I have to use the keyboard and push the ESC button...

Perfect would be, if the "h" button for "Home" or the "Back" button could be used instead...

If you install the IR Server Suite and use the translator functionality you could map the ESC key to a MCE remote button.

Hi,

there is a Problem, i could not find any solution.

I have installed the StreamedMP Skin and start i start Mp in the Basic home Screen, but i don't know, how i can get the HP Starter button in the Basic Home Screen....

In the StreamdMP Skin configurator i can't find any skin or file on the left side that sounds like HP Starter....

Have anyone a solution for that Problem?

I have used the HD-starter code to make my own 'HD-starter'. It makes use of the Arcsoft player plugin of Tourettes and blends nicely in with StreamedMP. Here you can read my initial post about it (with source).

|You have to alter the code to fit it to your needs... pathnames for instance...

Then compile it with the software used in this thread (autohotkey).

Then download the arcsoftplayer plugin and install it; you do not need the arcsoft player itself; we're gonna use powerDVD. Instead of pointing the plugin in its configuration to the arcsoftplayer, point it to your newly created executable and voila...
