domb thank your for this plugin!
It works fine with powerdvd 11 and ive got only one question, how can i change the picture for the plugin in homescreen?

The picture in the home screen? Not sure what you mean. I use the StreamedMP skin so there are no pictures in the home screen as such.

Hello, I´m using Mediaportal 1.2.2 and have Arcsoft Total Media Theater 5 also installed. Which is the best installer I must download bearing in mind my configuration.
The instructions in the first page are a little bit confusing, and it seems have not been modified in a long time.
I will appreciate your help very much. Thanks in advance.

I wanted to see how this worked with powerDVD so I snagged the trial version. Turns out it's PowerDVD12. I pointed the 'player executable' to the player itself so the media manager does not open. The problem I am having is that I cannot get powerdvd player to close after hitting the stop button. Sorry for my ignorance but what am I missing? Does anyone have a keyboard shortcut that works as the normal X to close a window is not an option?

There isn't one basically. If you eject the disc with the button then PowerDVD should close I think. The pugin will not intercept commands whilst something else is in the foreground. Well actually, it does, but sendkeys won't send them to another running executable. I couldn't get it to close on hitting stop. Thats what I was experimenting with but I'm no developer!

If anybody can fix this then the source code is available from my website. I'll post the link if you want it.

If you have some remote software you could probably set it to do what you want. Or try MePo remote server or whatever its called. never used it myself.

I was experimenting with this the other day. if you get EventGhost you can set up a macro for when you press stop to close your player. I also managed to get the skip forward/skip back and menu buttons working with CinePlayer as it doesn't have any proper remote support!

What marco did you setup? I saw earlier in the thread that ixdvc posted the following:

    Code:
    taskkill /F /IM PowerDVDCinema10.exe

Is that what you ended up doing domb?
