ok, so finally a reason to upgrade to vista :D thx anyway! what 3rd party software could this be?
Blu-Ray movies use the UDF 2.5 filesystem.
Vista can read that, Windows XP can not.

So you need to find a UDF 2.5 driver for Windows XP.
There are some, but i never dared to install them since this can be quite risky.

Hm have installed the Toshiba UDF 2.5 drivers on my XP HTPC. Works without any issues yet. Google for "slysoft udf 2.5". You'll find an forum thread with an manual how to get and install it.

I also use the Toshiba UDF and can read both BluRay and HD-DVD without any issues (XP SP3).

Fixed enable/disable refresh rate setting not working

I tested the latest Beta with Mediaportal 1.1 svn 23143 but the refresh rate function does not seem to work. I tested some PAL and NTSC DVDs (no Blu-Rays) and there is no refresh rate change.

Within Mediaportal itself the refresh rate change works on every file (TV/Video).

Arcsoft player plugin supports only Blu-ray movies when it comes to refresh rate detection. Also the Blu-ray disk must be either non-encrypted or some 3rd party driver must be used to get the file decrypted on the fly.

How do you guys handle stopping playback and returning to MediaPortal?

I have set up my iMon remote to play, pause etc. but what can I do when I'm done watching my movie and wants to switch back to MP?

Hope you have an ide :)

With MCE remote it is back button :) I would assume that ESC would trigger the same on Arcsoft's MCE player.

Or (if minimizing MP) use TGB as the next movie will be started faster when TMT doesn't have to be launched again.
