Hello Lehmden,

First of all thank you for the time writing down all the points in such a detail level
During reading I see partly your remote control flying in the direction of your tv
I'm again on cell phone, I'll try all your points with my remote control later. But I'd like to give already a short feedback in advance.

1) I think both issues are solved meanwhile. I guess you didn't use the latest version from GitHub, did you? when reentering the group menu you should automatically have come to the last active menu item. If you are in movies, you should come automatically to videohub. When scrolling in the group menu the focused item is enlarged and the currently active item is always white and will keep the color, even you leave the main menu.

2) this won't be possible, because the focused item is automatically selected in the latest version. If the selection would automatically jump to the first sub menu item, you won't be able to scroll in the group menu any more.

3) Fully agree here!! this drives me also crazy

Other points I'll check by myself and feedback later

Just installed it on my HTPC to check also TV functionality. All the masks are not working. I do not see any rounded corners for buttons and covers. The masks are available in the image folder and no errors in log. It's time to sleep now, I'll try to tomorrow after reboot again. Hope there was another issue.

PS: Don't forget to delete your settings, if you used BlueVision before! otherwise the home screen will not appear

Does either skin (Apollo or BlueVision) have enhanced TV functionality, in particular menu options to switch from one time to every time from the schedules screen? Unfortunately I'm running local mods so I can't merge the latest changes in to check.

No changes to TV features have been made, sorry.

Just installed it on my HTPC to check also TV functionality. All the masks are not working. I do not see any rounded corners for buttons and covers. The masks are available in the image folder and no errors in log.

It could be caused my merge issues. It made me nearly crazy to get a working version of both skins. It's very hard if two branches contain same (or similar) changes that need to be merged then.

Can you compare the contents of this build with you working copy to find differences? WinMerge is good for this, or you use git...

I have compared Morpheusxx/MediaPortal-2:Weekly3Surface with MediaPortal/MediaPortal-2:FEAT_BlueVision_v4
With regard to plugin BlueVision I could not see any difference.

This morning I installed the weekly also on my working PC and I couldn't even start MP2.
I'll attach the error logs tonight. I wonder, if others also have problems.

Hi.
Have installed it last night. It's working here in general.

I've tested especially the new feature with auto- adding recordings at start time. In most cases it's working, great. Only case I found where it did not work is, if you press "record" on an already running TV program. Such recordings are added to the ML when they are finished So it looks as if the "record start" signal is not send in this cases. Nevertheless this is a huge improvement over the previous behaviour and the first visible success of the switch to TVE 3.0 native.
Next Formula 1 race can come, I'm prepared now... The last time I had this issue again. I've scheduled all three programs, the pre- report, the race and the post- report. I wake up and want to start watching but the pre- report was in the post-recording time already so I couldn't start it from EPG and had to wait until the first of the three recordings are finished before I could start watching. This (for me number one) TV related problem now is gone...

Also the most important "rock" is moved out of the way, there is still a long way to go in TV section. E.g. the deletion of a schedule never did work, there is no way to interrupt a running recording, we have no notice excerpt of the EPG view if a recording actually is running (the famous "red dot"), no channel or season and episodes numbers shown in EPG, removed recordings are not cleared from database and, most important, the other TV related point from my "Top 4", the chronological list of upcoming schedules. If those points are solved we are equal to MP1 in the really important TV section and can start to leave MP1 behind.

The new Blue Vision home screen is not working here. It did not show anything. Instead the previous content still is displayed but without the possibility to navigate into the shown section.
And as far as I can tell already, all previously mentioned navigation issues are still there...
