Keep current GroupMenu design or take the new alternative one (picture below)?

Current design

• No backgrund
• Growth of symbol on focus
• White symbol color if selected

New alternative design

• Darker background
• White frame on focus
• White symbol color if selected

Hi.
What I would like the most is this:

• No backgrund
• White frame on focus
  
• Growth of symbol if selected
• White symbol color if selected

The whole thing (not only on group menu) is that it's often too hard to see what has focus and what is selected. This definitely is better a lot with the new design, but I prefer the transparent (not visible) background of the symbols.

I agree, but i like it with backgrund . This decision becomes hard for ge2301

I prefer with background. The growth effect wouldn't look good on buttons, and having a symbol growing in a button is strange and uncommon. So I don't want any growth effect.
Instead of a focus frame I would prefer a white glow behind the button. This would fit to the mp2 and power button.

I asked for A or B and you come with C, D and E
Well, I'll make some trials with different variations, it's always better to see. And I believe there will be some more feedbacks.
I like the idea with the glow also, but must see how it looks like.

Hi.
I would go for the last one. Looks much cleaner and nicer imho than with the background.
Hope the new Buttons can be used for other colour themes like the "Grey" theme as it's easy to create other colours... By the way I'm testing some more colours. Here is a "Maroon" theme preview.

The last one is with background. Do you mean D ?
