Which screen are you using basic or home menu? Using rss ticker right?

I have no problems here. The errors in log or mediaportal are unclear to me, can have to do with any kind of rendering (directx)

Yes, cleared the cache, re-installed the skin, tried basic and home menù, completely removed rss-ticker dll...

Does anybody still has 0.0.5 files, just to double check? (not 0.0.5.1 'cause I didn't tried it)

weird..
With 0.0.5 it works, with all plugins enabled... TVSeries, Moving Pictures, RSS ticker, MyTrailers, MySpeedFan, youtube.fm
With 0.0.5.1 it works too.
With 0.1 doesn't work; with or without the above plugins...

I'm trying to have a look inside the xml files, in order to find differences between 0.0.5 and 0.1, but I don't know anything about skinning
More, I don't understand how some xml files could trigger an D3D exception...

Hoping some other "lucky" user find the problem, just to get an help in debugging the problem....

Maybe I shouldn't have done this. I removed a couple dozen of blank images..

You could try 0.1 and then copy paste the media folder of 0.0.5 or 0.0.5.1.
Just a guess.

Well basically you're right and it shouldn't. It's not as easy for the MP crew to get there. Especially with alot of plugins hacking away at the mp core And my not complete knowledge of the skin engine but that's beside the point.

If I were you I would do it by ways of elimination. Just try my suggestion about media folder first(you can choose not to overwrite, saves a little time). Then overwrite myhome.xml with the file from 0.0.5 and basichome and so on. Try MP every time when you adjust something.

I have no clue myself other than the media folder cleanup.

Hey Joz, I finished the TV Guide. I know you are not ready to look at TV yet, but I'm enclosing it anyway You can check it out when you like.

I've done a lot of work on the TV Search, but I'm having problems. I keep losing screen elements, then when I switch focus to the menu and back, they come back! So that will take a bit longer!

I'm downloading 0.1 now so I'll see if I get the same error as Cybertex.

I'm looking forward to seeing the new MyFilms screen. As I was doing it, I was thinking "Joz must have left that space there for something." But I totally forgot about the optional labels. DUH!

I can't comment on your Topbar=Sidebar as I never use the Basic Home Screen. Is it in 0.1? If so, I'll check it out. It looks like an interesting idea and gets me thinking....

In MyFilms I use hierarchy, but it doesn't look good in the skin, could you please move hierarchy a bit upper?

What's hierarchy and how do I test this?

You can group films together creating hierarchy in the names, for ex.:
007\Dr. No
007\Live and Let Die

And TVSeries group them, at top level you can see 007 only, then when you entering into group you can see list of films, but group label is in the top of the list.

Just tried 0.1 and got the same problem Cybertex. Tried copying the media subdirectory from 0.0.5.1 but still had the same problem. I noticed there is no Logos directory in the Blue3++ 0.1.zip. I tried copying the Logos folder from 0.0.5.1, but that did not help either. Perhaps there were new files in Logos that need to be referenced? I'm assuming it is working on your system Joz?

But I don't think that should cause a crash!

Obviously I did something wrong... Now I'm scratching my head, what did I do wrong?
And yes it's working on my test machine. Although the test machine is also a development machine. I just work of it, and the screen, so I can have a feel for it when editing. What I'm running currently on this machine is already a couple steps further.

Just discovered there is something wrong with tvseries logos. They don't display for me. Would be kinda weird if that's the cause
