But ffdshow DXVA is not very stable at the moment.

Can i ask where did you get such info?

I assumed that cause i tried it and ffdshow DXVA crashed MP completely during TV channel switching while NO other codec behaves that way.

Well, yes, FFDshow DXVA/MPC decoder is not compatible with LiveTV, but working great for local media.

Do you have an idea why?
    Or is MP guilty?

    Hello,

Is it possible to make this plugin to support .evo (HDDVD)? I still have some of these...

    This plug-in is great.

The most important feature however is not mentioned; it makes embedded PGS subtitles work! Even those muxed in with tsMuxeR from a .srt file.

I have a question though. Why do I have to drill down into the Blu-Ray folder structure to find the index file, why does it not simply start when selecting the folder with the Blu-Ray structure just as for DVD playback?

Sorry but currently i have no plans to support HDDVD.

The plugin has no control over how the actual video plugins (My Videos etc..) start the playback, it's just a player.

Brilliant. I knew I had missed something. It is the video plugin that determines this. My Videos won't, but Moving Pictures plays straight from selecting the folder. That's the last hurdle to play Blu-Ray from the HDD taken. Brilliant indeed!

Thanks again for this plug-in, what is MP without it?

    Re: Bluray Handler 0.9.3 (BETA)

first it realy is a great plugin :D but i have a strange problem.
When playing a bluray the sound LPCM is like noise. If i look in the logs and graphfile i see that the sound is not being decoded with ffdshow audio decoder. When i manually play the file in graphedit the sound is perfect
Does someone have an idea why the audio decoder is not used but the sound goes directly to the renderer?

    logs and graphfiles attached.

    /edit only LPCM
