    Re: Bluray Handler 0.9.0 (BETA)

I will give this Plugin a try in the next few days, sounds great so far and the need of PowerDVD orTMT3 will go away! :D

This is indeed a great development!

Does this plugin support using embedded subtitles? Or what does it take to use embedded subtitles with this plugin? If it somehow does, then the need for PowerDVD or TMT3 will go away.

    Re: Bluray Handler 0.9.2 (BETA)

Yes, with the correct codecs (MPC+Fddshow) installed everything should be the same as when you are playing back with a normal bluray player (except the actual menu/navigation), including subtitles, seamless branching and hd audio bitstreaming (if your hardware supports it).

Also what's your definition of embedded subtitles? I only know of a problem with Avatar where MPC codecs and/or the current subtitle engine would not show the "forced" subtitles for the n'avi.

    Re: Bluray Handler 0.9.2 (BETA)

I rip the DVD with AnyDVD HD and then select the main movie, language tracks and subtitles I wish to keep with TSmuxeR creating a new Blu-ray folder structure. I now play this with TMT3 (trail version, so no AC3 but DTS)).

If I create a .m2ts file with TSmuxeR I can play this with the internal MP player (with DXVA), but then the subtitles don't work.

Would your plu-in play the blu-ray folder structure (rather than an .iso)?

With the embeded subtitles I mean the PGS from the .m2ts stream.

Yes it will , as long as you keep the bluray structure intact.

Does anybody have experience using the embedded PGS subtitles with this plugin? How did you do it?

    It just works :)
I use MPC-HC subtitle engine. But it doesn't work when you only have the m2ts file. Original BR folder structure must be intact.
You can substitute any PGS stream for SRT with tsMuxer.

i don't think that is the problem, because m2ts files are correctly played, but seems index.bdvm or .mpls are not correctly intepreted......

    any other idea ?
