It wont for example allow you to select the title you want to play (there is simpy no interfaces for such in directshow). And the automatic main movie selection doesn't work (and might not work ever unless BD-J / HDVM can be analysed by the source filter). Also people might want to play the extras on BD.

do i have to copy the unpacked files from LAVFilters-0.20 in a special folder (MePo) ?

or you need to know what .mpls to take BDHandler display all playlist to make user to choose it

insert Cosino-Royal
disc found - chapters good - but sound is scratchy-ugly ...
(have to change "codecs " to LAV will bring a bit change )

hmm works - but sound/audio not real good - always a schratching - noiseoverlay

I've not installed the ffdshow version provided in your post, yet. I left the one from SAF 5.0 final (scared that I mess everything up...)
only ffdshow codecs on video codec page of MPConfig
no receiver. Decoding is done by codecs, sound is 2.0 analog onboard
There are two problems:
1. There is no sound if the sound track is DTS, DTS-Master Studio or Dolby True HD. Dolby Digital works without a problem. Could this be related to the slightly older version of ffdshow I'm using?
2. I've got one BD-ISO on my harddisk, imported in Moving Pictures. If I start this ISO it is mounted, but MP just freezes. I have to ctrl-alt-del and restart MP. This does not happen when inserting a physical BD.
Both problems do not occur when I disable BDHandler - but then I can't chose the chapter to play...
Am I missing something here? Do I need to make any special codec selection in MPConfig? Unfortunately can't provide logs right now (tv in use...). Will post them tomorrow or Saturday.

Maybe, i'm not sure, but without BDH it is work and try to open .mpls or .bdmv with graphstudio for example ? Maybe need latest version of LAVF too :
