Hi

Didn't have the time to look closer, i use full sub, i have setup something about forced sub but the method is ugly in code (for LAVF with mkv) but i think it should work for BD too .
I will try to make special dll in few days for this (and for testing lol)

Hi,

This is new bdhandler that manage Forced Subtitle from Lavf splitter. It seems working here
Note : the subtitle selected will be display as default os language (for example here my Windows is english) so Forced Sub is display as English [Auto]
I don't know if it's really related to Language Windows, let give a try, but the forced Flag is selected.
The forced sub is automatly set if the correct setting is made in Lav Splitter, take a look @ screenshot.
I hope that it's OK.

The patch is based on the display streamname, so it's ugly but it's for testing

Hi,

This is a new dll, should display now "Forced Flag" in the list of subtitle.
This is also a screenshot how it should be setup on LAV Splitter.
Not all BD is working (when no working, it didn't display sub).
Only BD with PGS subtitle stream mixed with full sub and forced sub will be working.
There is no flag to detect forced sub (only the good way to detect it is by BD Menu not available for now).
It's needed to put prefered Language in audio selection. (For ex in the screenshot, i have set eng for English).

Hi Sebastiii, Bluray is working, subtitles can be a problem but people are working on it
What about 3D Bluray playback? Do i need the other plugin (script) to handle this outside of mediaportal through PowerDVD 11 or is it possible somehow with this Bluray handler.
I can test on 3DTV if you want.

You would need a 3D capable video renderer - MP's EVR renderer doesn't support such.

Quote unlikely since:

• I haven't seen any 3D movie that would actually benefit from the 3D
• No 3D capable HW
• No free time

...but that shouldn't stop anyone else from implementing the 3D support

Hey guys comon, this is conservative behaviour There are passive 3DTV's now which don't give you headache and deliver perfect 3D. Same system, with polarized glasses, as in the movie theaters. It's perfect.
So spend some cash and go forward
