    Hi
I've just been trying out ant and myfilms. Does it support bluray rips? I haven't been able to get it to work yet, but have tried adding bdmv to the file types. Am i missing something? DVDs seems to be supprted with the check for dvd folders check box, but not BD?
    Thanks
    Ben

    Hi Ben,
I assume you're talking about AMCupdater and (br) rips done to a folder, not iso's.
Indeed, BR folders are not yet scanned/added.
I have added this now and renamed the option to "Check for DVD/BR folders".
If you're interested to get a test version, pls drop me a PM - I would appreciate testing, as I can't do myself (don't have BR).

    Hi Guzzi
The xml files are attached. I'll be doing the fanart properly at some point soon so it won't affect me in the meantime.
    Cheers

Thanks - will look into it and fix that empty folder problem for future version.
Looking at your MyFilms config, it seems you have manually only set up the very basics - you might want to try the setup wizard, as it presets most of the stuff to useful values. You still can tweak it as you want. You can also try that and just add a new config by the setup wizard to test it - so you won't touch your manually created one at all.

Sure, send it over. I may as well given I have a wrong one at the moment!
    Thanks for the help.

    Hi again...
While I have been importing some films using the setup button, I have noticed that it seems to use US versions of films despite selecting UK in the setup options.
eg harry potter and philosophers stone = harry potter and sorcerers stone. american pie the wedding = american wedding.
'search again' doesn't work, and if i go to the grabber options when it shows me the selection of films, there is no way to select 'uk' anywhere, from what I can see. If I use the AMC program directly, it shows me the correct title.
Am I missing something in the setup? Or should I go through the import and then change it in the main AMC program?

    Hi Ben,
best would be if you post current config files (MyFilms and AMCupdater) and log files - so I can have a look directly into them - as results depend on the grabber used and several settings.
Not all grabbers support "preferred language" - best supported is "IMDB-Full" - so you might try this one, as it also searches AKA titles.

    Hi
Thanks. xmls attached. I used the IMDB Full grabber, and it shows a philosophers stone (redirect) entry, which then puts the sorcerers stone as the original title. When I use the IMDB grabber in AMC itself, it shows me a philosophers stone entry, which refers to th2 same IMDB code, but enters phiosophers stone as the original title.
Am I just missing something on the AMC Updater?
(By the way, I am tempted to go back to MyMovies anyway. I like the idea of using a separate database, so this plugin works for me, but I am not fixed on which database as yet. Is the only advantage of AMC over any others that it can be updated internally? So far I think I prefer MyMovies to AMC)

Yep, so it seems, it was the correct movie identified - so it "only" the question about title handling.
Normally, you would define "UK" as Translated Title Language - and choose that one as Mastertitle.
You'd end up having the UK title as Mastertitle - and the originaltitle as secondarytitle.
However, I am not too experienced with english title handling - maybe Dadeo can comment on best approach.
Did you get the UK titles in 'translated title'/'secondary title' in myfilms?
You could try changing global options - display options - to switch the master title in MyFilms.

(By the way, I am tempted to go back to MyMovies anyway. I like the idea of using a separate database, so this plugin works for me, but I am not fixed on which database as yet. Well, I think there is no "general rule" - if you're familiar with a certain movie namager, it is probably not bad to use it - unless there is something that you're really missing and might get elsewhere.
Indeed is AMC currently the only one, that can be updated from MyFilms/internally - but due to the possibility of e.g. Trakt syncing, the most important use case - that is "watched" handling - does work for other catalogs as well.
