Ok, just to be 100% sure I do what you ask me and I understand correctly.

I have currently installed MP1.3 final.
You want me to test and reproduce the steps issue with the above 1.3final build?
If im wrong, guide me to the correct path of enlightenment.

Hey,
I would like if possible that you test the fix on your 1.3.0Final, for sure, you can reproduce the issue first (i have reproduce it here).
Only Windowsplugins.dll need to change, i will post here the dll, it will be fast for testing

Writing results first. make log later. You can ask for specific situation logs.

Using 1.3final without new dll.
first run
Start playback music
go to myvideo > start video (dialog pops up) <--- music stoped already here.

second run (repeat test 1)
Start playback music
go to myvideo > start video (dialog pops up) <--- music continues playing
press ESC, music did not stop playing at all now.
> start video again, popup dialog > yes. <--- music stoped and playback starts.
Stopping movie. Music does not continue.

thrid run (repeat test `1 again.)
Start playback music
go to myvideo > start video (dialog pops up) <--- music stoped already here.

Bit inconsistent dont know why

Using 1.3final with new dll.
Same behaviour as described above.
What did you expect me to see?

I didn't get exact result as you on my installation (what video did you try to play ?)

After all maybe more dll are needed.

Hi,

Using 1.3final without new dll.
first run (DVD Resume)
Start playback music
go to myvideo > start video (resume dialog pops up) <--- music don't stopped <--- i cancel resume (Music continue to play) <--- Hit F8 to skip to next track and DVD start.

second run (MKV Resume)
Start playback music
go to myvideo > start video (resume dialog pops up) <--- music don't stopped <--- i cancel resume (Music continue to play) <--- Hit F8 to skip to next track and MKV start.

Using 1.3final with new dll.
first run (DVD Resume)
Start playback music
go to myvideo > start video (resume dialog pops up) <--- music don't stopped <--- i cancel resume (Music continue to play) <--- Hit F8 to skip to next track and next music track is played.

second run (MKV Resume)
Start playback music
go to myvideo > start video (resume dialog pops up) <--- music don't stopped <--- i cancel resume (Music continue to play) <--- Hit F8 to skip to next track and next music track is played.

So i can confirm for me that it's working like it should.
I test on 1.3.0Final (no plugin installed)

Ok, when I get back from work, I will test on a fresh build. I used a plugin cramped 1.3final build.
Also, I will add a log for you to get to actually SEE what I'm doing.
To be continued ~12h from now..

I have been testing this on Win 8. Win 7 went out the door... having trouble mounting stuff.
Is my besting this still posible with W8?

Switching to Dtools lite. (was using virtual clonedrive.. but this doesnt work with w8) Didnt get it to work... VCD did in the end.

Found the latest beta of Virtual clonedrive also is able to handle W8 and iso mounting normally.
Going with virtualclondrive first.. good stable experience until now.

Thank for testing, can you supply log ?
So i suppose you mount ISO that maybe the diff i have from here, i try only on video files.
Just to confirm, if you mount ISO before starting MP and try to play the video files from Virtual drive (after start a music) does it work ?

Oh.. cr*p.. !! I was falling asleep during testing afther the 10% beer.. I had the logs on my desktop ready to be attached. I see I didnt actually attach em. Sorry!

Yes, I tried to mount iso during playback. This indead results in the music stop.
I'll try to do the test with mkv/avi (if I dont fall asleep.... ) tonight.

I'll try to take over my pc remotely and get it done... sigh.

I can reproduce it with ISO mounting but i don't think it's possible easily to do it differently.
