[solved] ?BUG - Can no longer play trailers are upgrade of trakt/trailer plugins (1 Viewer)

Hi

Playing online trailers from trakt-movies-trending was working fine earlier in the week.
Recently upgraded all plugins using mepo extension installer.

Attempted to play 2x online trailers within trakt:trending_movies, got an error, then attempted to play trailer that had previously been downloaded (avengers trailer). On trying to play the local trailer mepo crashed and was force closed.

have tried a pc restart and also rechecked codecs in mepo.

Has there been a change that means mepo/trailers will crash if the trailer is located on a hdd location that is sleeping/slow to wake?

this log shows me sucessfully playing a local trailer via trakt:trending (lego movie), then attempting to play 3 online trending movie trailers for movies that aren't in my library. I get the "unable to play trailer" error for the first two attempts (Fast Furious 6 and Imitation game), then when I try to play the 3rd trailer mediaportal crashes rather than presenting me with an error dialog. I have to ctrl+alt+del to close mepo.

Im not sure exactly what your problems are there but doesnt appear to be trakt/trailers related. I do see some errors related to PS in the error.log (whatever that is?) and MP Url Splitter in OnlineVideos log.

Maybe as a start try fix your online trailers by ensuring your MP Url Splitter is up to date (double check) and also check if the YouTube site util is the most recent version (via Update Manager). You appear to be about 2mths behind on the offbyone's sites which include YouTube:

I played 5 online trailers and 5 local trailers in a row from Trending Movies and did not have any issues.

hmm. perhaps a local issue. strange that the only thing ive changed is updating the plugins via extension manager, perhaps the updated plugins aren't compatible with my version of mp 1.10. ive updated online video site list. that didn't fix. change splitter from lav to auto, that didn't work.

hmm the problem relates to online videos

i get the no video url error in youtube

have tried uninstalling + reinstalling both O.V. and the mpurl splitter/filter.
