funny thing is that there was never a big demand on the priorities. thats why it got sort of "forgotten".

That requirement has gone down a lot when the multitune feature was added :)

Well, I understand it if you don't mind the shows you want to record sometimes just get stopped because some other show starts recording. And you don't mind that you cant change a thing about it or manage this.

If it doesn't work or if you don't want to provide this service anymore, remove it.
If you want to provide the service of managing priorities leave it in, but fix it.

    Don't you agree?

    For your information.
Since MediaPortalk 1.0, the Priorities section is nolonger available inside the MyTV Section if TV-Server is used.

For the 1.0.x releases i have proposed to add the priorities feature to the TV-Server side. But no developer volunteered yet to do it.

    Time will tell.

    Ah, ok, great!

I hope it will be picked up in the near future though :)

As a counter "add" I have to mention that 4TR forces you to use streaming in a single seat installation, which is not a nice thing (main reason why I havent even tested 4TR.)
I guess you can test it now, 1.3.2 is out and now allows you to timeshift over UNC as well as RTSP ;)
