Burning recorded TV to a DVD (1 Viewer)

Some people experience problems with mpg recordings.
And then ofcourse, the ts recording may contain more information (streams) than a standard mpg recording.

Hey all,

Just a quick heads up that i've begun working on this plugin.

I do C# all day so the language isn't a problem, but learning my way around Mediaportal and the skin engine is more of a challenge

I was going to use the same sort of interface as the MyBurner plugin, i.e. select the files you want to record - but wondered if it would be nicer to pick up directly from the list of recorded tv? That might wait for a second release, the first will probably be a lot more basic...

Nice one, looking forward to testing, being able to create a DVD from the MP interface would be really cool in most peoples view

Yes, I can definitly confirm that I would like that. I had troubles with the MPG recordings, so switched to .ts, but these are not handled by myburner....

And to burn right out of the recordings list is exactly what I want to do!

Just a quick update - I haven't forgotten this and it's coming along ok, but life is so hectic. Anyways, i've almost got the creation of the project file for dvdflick complete, so then I need to finalise the linking of that bit o' code in to the rest of the plugin bits and give it a whirl...

Not sure - I've only tried it a couple of times, but it worked fine for me... did the files in question perhaps have more than one audio channel and one was blank?

Good to know jimblings. I am sure your plugin will be well regarded by majority of people. Do you think dvdflick will be able to use comskip information as well? It's not really very important as we can use Editor from MP, but would be nice if it could.
