The fact that WinTV is working fine suggests that there is nothing wrong with windows/drivers. Looking at the logs I'd say there is something wrong with with the TSWriter filter. I suggest a full rebuild of TVServer with the latest version.

    1.Uninstall TVServer from add/remove programs
2.REBOOT! (Sometimes the TVService doesn't stop and so the uninstall won't complete till reboot)
    3.Delete the folder C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server
4.Use SQL Studio Express to delete the TVLibrary database
    5.Re-install TVServer (Latest SVN)

Don't skip any of these steps ;)

Have completed the above steps and still not tuning properly, i think i will try with sql server express again instead of my sql. I wonder if it has anything to do with the 64bit drivers, they were only just released about a month ago, anyone using a HVR 4000 in vista 64bit?

Oops Hazza, sorry didn't realise that you were running vista/64bit; I should've checked your system specs! I think you should (if you haven't already) have a wider look around the MP forums, ask your question in the TVServer Support section. There are a lot of knowledgeable people who wouldn't be browsing the NZ forum.

    Cheers,

@ DRlurch - check the ip address being used by the Tv server and that used by the MP frontend, if different then possibly the cause. You should post logs and create a separate thread as this is hardly an NZ specific issue.

mew is one of the most knowledgeable users of a HVR4000, search threads with his name or PM him.

He's a really helpful guy, sure he will not mind more questions.

Not so sure about the Vista 64 though.
