Try 12634V SR:5100, i got SCTV. Weirdly my SS2 with the original drivers is able to detect it but my SS2 with the BDA drivers cant, possibly a signal strength issue.
Have a look at this word document containing screen shots from my FloppyDVT S/CI card tuning in MP. Some are the old Maori, TV1, TV2 which may not be working now but others are recent new channels. I am away for the next few days and on return I will send you some more such as Stratos and TVNZ 6. Where you see stb that is my generic stb picking up Freeview. The top right corner of each screen shot shows the source also. I have picked up 12636 V on Optus D1 and can do a screen shot next week also.
Johnrw, can you expand on the program needed to open the document within the ZIP file. Its shows here as a SXW file and is not recognised by word or anything else I have.
Wondering if any of you guys can help. I have TV3 with latest SVN and Mediportal RC3 latest SVN. Everyuthing was working fine but I couldnt change channel on my DVB-S card. So I thought it may be the LNB switch setting - changed it to 0 but this did nothing except...
Now when I go into myTV I just get a black screen. I can preview the channels in TV3 but cant see them anymore in MP???? Any ideas?
I'll continue looking through the forums for a solution, just thought one of you kind folk may have seen this before.
Hi there, check which codec your using for TV in the mediaportal configuration, it may have been changed during the new install. I think the preview window uses a different mpeg codec from MP. There are reports of difficulties with the latest SVN and channel changing.
Hi Geekiegeek, I uninstalled build 16281 (if that's the one you installed) because it just did not work for me at all. I have gone back to 16250, which appears more stable. With build 16281 I could not get MyTV to work and I had issues with the TV Server service failing to stop. I think others have reported similar issues as well. So go back to the previous version in the meantime and I guess the issues will be sorted in the next svn build.
Quick question... with TV Server one can receive multiple TV channels at the same time on a single TV card when the channels are on the same transponder, right?
Can the original tv engine (v0.2) do this also, or just the server?
And i am positive it does not do that, it records in M$ DVR-MS format which does not capture the whole transponder stream, only TS recording can do that.
