unfortunatly, I dont have a sat dish, or a DVB-anything card or I would, that is my problem I need EPG data, but I (for now) am only getting analogue vhf and uhf broadcasts.

#855: XMLTVNZ only seems to get me chan TV2 and Prime. I would like to use XMLTVNZ, it's what i used to use, if you know hoe to get it working that would be greeat!

that would be a question better left asked in the Reven forums, and i haven't used the program in months, but these are the commands i used to use.

diecastblue: You need to donate in the reven forums to get the Beta releases which have all the channel support. He will eventually release the candidate to everyone for free, but for the time being it is donators only.diecastblue:

PHansen: yeah I have been reading on his forum, thats cool, and I'll probably end up donating something if it does work for all channels. I also tried TVxb that seems to work ok, but still not for all channels.

ive got the final build of media portal, and one of my old tv server svn's working great now no probles, and tv3 and 4 are great too

That build didn't work for me but I tried the latest builds (17258) and all is good now

I have noticed that the only version so far i have managed to get working 16534 is quite unstable, When changing the settings in tv server it often hangs and then becomes unresponsive and needs to be restarted. Also media portal will always crash when closing to the taskbar if the tv is on (my tv or preview window on home screen) ( This has happened on all versions of media portal ive tried including the newest ones) I am using 16534 for everything as the newer tv servers dont work for me (not scanning channels). Also since using tv server the channel changes have become very slow and the audio changes before the video but then is in sync when everything changes, in just mediaportal the changes were quite reasonable.

Also anyone with a Hauppauge HVR 4000 what are the correct hybrid card settings for tv server. I currently have it as DVB-S and DVB-T (hybird 1) and Analogue and Radio as (hybrid 2) as i think that you cannot use dvbs and dvbt at the same time.

There are some major improvements happening the core, tswriter/tsreader/timeshifitng/recording going on at the moment. Keep an eye on the change log. I'm running the latest snapshot at the moment and it's pretty stable bar a few quirks that are actively being worked on.

i have 2 4000 cards,
i have no idea what a hybrid card is or how 2 set one up, and i can only watch dvb-s or dvb-t not both @ the same time,
im still having problems with the dvb-t codecs, but im going to wait untill it gets closer to dvb-t launch as every time i play with dvb-t i mess media portal up,
