1. I'm successfully receiving the NZ Freeview EPG off the air but the programme descriptions are duplicated for many programmes. As the info scrolls up it repeats itself and then the divider line goes past and the whole thing then loops. Is this a known issue or something specific to Freeview in NZ?
2. As Prime is not on DVB and I'm importing the EPG using XMLTVNZ and then using the XMLTV function inside the TV server to read the file in. When I do this it imports fine (and so far without the duplications I'm seeing as described in point one above) but it wipes all of the off air EPG data. Is there any way of using the XMLTV for one channel and the off the air data for the others or are these functions mutually exclusive?

You using DVB-S? Yeah I get this sometimes I assumed it was just the way the data came down from the the network. I haven't investigated further.
Yes, using DVB-S. Thanks for that. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't something I'd done wrong.![]()

Instead of using xmltvnz you can just scan in the sky transponder that caries Prime (12707), and then combine with the your prime analog channel and use an EPG only mapping. This way you get Prime EPG direct from the satellite![]()
Great! I've also added an NZ specific guide for "EPG only mappings" in the NZ wiki:I've been wrestling with that for a week and you've solved it for me in 5 minutes! It works great
MS MCE remote will And they also work perfectly with MPWhat solutions/remotes are there that will power on the PC from this (S4) state?

Yeah if the machine is awake and TV Server is idle then it will just check for updates every 2hours (by default)Do you have any process for periodically updating the EPG or do you rely on the TV server settings doing it when the machine is awake?
I use it with XP Pro SP2wasn't sure if it would work with XP Pro
