only thing iv got to do now is add uhf prime to the channel list, but i cant pick it up on my scans (i cant pick any uhf cahnnels up on the media portal scan)
Change the source from 'antenna' to 'cable' - that seems to open up all bands I-V, not just I and III in a default scan.

I done that and its still dosnt pick anything up
Im using the analog tunner on the hvr-4000.

also dose tv 3 audio get out of time with the picture for anyone else (DVB-t)

    the analog tuner does not work on the 4000 card, as i does not have the hardware encoder chip, you will have to get a 150 or 500 card to get analogue picture, media portal does not like software encoders.

    ATT all hvr 4000 owners.

    I can't remember who it was that wanted to change their hauppage green power button to turn on (and off media portal) but i've found the command you need to edit into c:\windows\irremote.ini to run media portal in it's default (Yes the default :D) install directory.

    {run(C:\PROGRA~1\TEAMME~1\MEDIAP~1\MEDIAPortal.EXE)}

    sorry i couldn't figure it out ages ago, but here we all go now :D

    heres a copy of my ini file if want to see what i've changed.

    lastly you have to restart the ir.exe after saving any changes to the irremote.ini file or there will be no effect.

    hope this helps atleast one person, i've spent ages working this out.

    Thanks for that omen. Funnily enough it did start working recently (not in default location though) But only since i installed 17991 that seems to be quite a stable build. But will now try when it is installed in default location. Thanks omen

    Is there supposed to be EIT data available for TVNZ 7 on DVB-S? I'm using MP and TV3 SVN from March 11 and forced a number of EPG refreshes but to no avail. Any ideas?

    I just did a rescan and picked up TVNZ 7 today too...

    Are there any recommendations for either USB or PCI (pref SFF) DVB-T tuners? That goes live in a couple of days and in a week or so im moving to a new house with no Satellite. ...
