Hi
Just wondering if anyone has any issues with TV3 when its in HD? It runs fine for me for about 5 - 10 mins then freezes in a 1sec loop but the sound keeps going. There is also the odd mini stutter.
I'm running a 8500GT with PowerDVD codecs. Seems to run sweet on all other channels. Any ideas? Have there been many updates in the SVN lately as Im on a mid March SVN currently.

Just an update if anyone has an ideas. I have tired the latest SVN and 17991 which has noted to be stable all with the same error, I can watch tv for about 5 mins then I get a pixelated freeze. I have tried the ffdshow codec and it works almost perfectly with no freezing so far. I figure the ffdshow doesnt use the onboard chip of m gcard which makes things more confusing. It seems to be only TV3 I have the most problems with. Both SD and HD.

try the core avc codec or power dvd 7 the best, on dvb-t there is no difference between sd shows and hd shows on tv3, as they are always broadcasting in hd 1080i and they up scale, i have never really (i get 1 second frezzing loop when i pause dvb-t, and then play again)

when i first tried media portal i would get this freezing, but i checked the logs and i googled the error and i found out that that it was an issue with my graphics card, so i got the latest drives and reinstalled mp and it worked great. so try updating ur gcard drivers.

ps im using svn17897 seams stable enough

Do a search in the forumsfor IR Server Suite thats what I use for blasting to my sky STB.

Phatbloke & handya - regarding video card drivers:

I recently tried upgrading the drivers for my video card (GForce 6600 TD) and ended up with problems playing AVI files stopping but the sound continuing so in the end I reverted to the old drivers. Pays to "Ghost" before making changes like that! (I use Acronis True Image - I've found it far easier to use than the versions of Ghost I had tried previously)

I have been using the PowerDVD codecs and they were the ones giving me issues. I have tried the Core avc ones but the ffdshow worked better. I am alsu using the latest beta drivers for nvidia as been running better than the official version. I watched it for about 2 hours tonight and not a glitch so might just stay with them for a while now.

I'm having the same freezing glitch as others, i had the latest released set of nvidia drivers giving me grief so i got the latest unreleased set and tried them this morning with no luck. I've tried PowerDVD, CoreAVC and ffdshow with no luck, PowerDVD gives me the best quality. Anyone here know what version of nvidia drivers they're using with no troubles?
