The perfect motherboard?

Hi guys Ive just posted in the hardware selection help forum
https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...62/perfect-htpc-motherboard-39315/#post263452
Not to doublle post but I know you fellow kiwis are always willing to help, and guess some of you dont read all the forums :D . If you can help me find a MB please have a look at my post for what Im after. Got quite a list of fussy specs as Ive had my HTPC for a couple of years know and pretty much know what I want. Might be asking too much though! Anyway have a look and any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers,
Matt

Has anyone been using EVR with MCE2005? And is it an improvement over VMR9? Thanks.

has anyone else tried converting dvb-t ts files into avi or anything else? what tools are you using?
Have been thinking exactly the same thing. Haven't tried it myself, yet, but AutoGK will accept *.ts files. Just have to work the best edit method for ads.

Here's the thread I got it from.

DTV Forum Australia > Best Way To Convert Ts To Avi (divx)
But then again, you might not be that simple. I tried it but the demux asked me to check the PIDS as there was 'no data'. Tried to manually select video & audio but with no success. Could it be due to the fact we use H.264 as opposed to MPEG2?

    Ah, compression: =smaller filesize=more HDD/DVD space.
Yea I get that but I just couldn't think what you'd want to keep long term off TV, to make the long compression process worth while. :) I guess music videos but it seems like a tedious process. There used to be a compress option in MediaPortal but did they take it out?
