Hi, Frater,
what is the remote setup you'll be trying to use? Will you send the signal out to the sky decoder box as well?

regards

I am wondering if its a card problem? current specs are

AMD 64 3200+
512 Ram
FX5900XT
Winfast TV2000XP Expert
200GB HDD + 40GB HDD

What cards are you guys having succes with as the winfast card I noticed isnt yet on the supported list, is it worth getting a digital card because I have been told that none of our free to air channels are digital yet? suggestions as I really would like to make this work?, also what kind of remotes would you guys reccomend?
Cheers

My TV2 setting is channel 8 this is in Christchurch ? :) using ATI 550 pro with 0.2 rc2 and compro videomate (software card) no channel problems .

Gidday everyone. Just a query about the ATI 550... I am using RC2 of media portal, but when I turn in all my channels (FTA) the bottom part of the TV picture is cropped (for example, on TV3, from about mid way thru the tv3 logo and down is missing). Anyone else have this issue? If so, how to fix? Have tried different decoders and aspect ratios with now luck at all. Almost vverything else in MP works well.

Never mind, sorted it out. Apparently you have to set the standard and country under the Analogue tab for each channel as well as under the global TV settings. Mutter grumble.

Gidday Bullfrog. I am using an ATI Theare 550 pro with MP 0.2 RC2. Now that I have sorted out my silly cropping issues it works very well. If you are having troubles finding a particular channel, you could try manually adding it based on the frequencies/channels of your closest transmitter (http://www.lincrad.co.nz/transmitters.htm).

As far as terrestrial digital TV, I don't think that NZ will be changing over any time soon, so I would hold off on the DVB card if I were you. Mind you, I did read somewhere that TV1 are experimenting with terrestrial digital TV (yay TV1!!)
