Can not see shared disk on my local network (1 Viewer)

Is this accepted as a bug?. I have the issue where I am unable to add any networked media source. The server (Windows Server Essentials 2012 R2) is found but none of the shares under it. A manual entry is accepted and the UNC name looks correct. "{03dd2da6-4da8-4d3e-9e55-80e3165729a3}:////SERVER\Music\" results in the UNC of \\SERVER\Music\. It won't take the UNC as a manual entry. On a rescan the rescan status briefly appears. There is no error in the logs. No media files are found. No identified resources processed.

Have you entered the username and password for the computer containing the network share? Settings -> Server Settings -> Network Credentials

Thanks for replying. I did. I resolved the problem by changing the login for the service to my user name.
