According to the roadmap, this wont be fixed until v 1.0

    see: Roadmap - MediaPortal Bugtracker

Actually the fix has been already commited to SVN, but as no one in the team has such HW device it hasnt been confirmed to be working and thus the issue is still open. As soon as someone can confirm that HDHomerun works with RC4 (it should) we will move the issue to on the solved ones.

It's *sorta* working for me... but not really...

If I disable all of my other tuners by either uninstalling their drivers or disabling them in Device Manager (disabling them in MP doesn't help), the HD Homerun works fine. If any of the other tuners are enabled, MediaPortal flies through the scan on the HD Homerun and doesn't find any channels. The other tuners still work fine.

I also tried the HD Homerun on my laptop and it worked. I assume this was because my laptop didn't have any other tuners installed.

I looked through the error log for TVServer, and it's throwing an ArgumentOutOfRangeException and an AccessViolationException every time it tries to tune a channel on the HD Homerun. From the error message, it looks like it's trying to remove a character from a string, but it's passing a negative index to the Remove function.

Here are my system specs and logs:

Got the same thing here too. Even after getting the channels to scan in (removed other cards), live tv wants to work intermittently after a reboot. Keep getting a "No signal" error when selecting a channel from the guide, but once in a while it will actually play. Are you getting that too spectre?

Mr. Tourettes, I wouldn't call this 100% fixed yet. Yes, channels will scan in now (if you don't have any other TV card installed), but it isn't working nearly as well as previous versions (1.0RC2) as far as playing live TV goes.
