Can´t play all series? (1 Viewer)

Just installed the latest Mediaportal with Xface skin and the latest MyTV-series. Everything seems fine. But the problem is that I can´t start all series that I have imported. Maybe it´s 3 out of 10 series that i can´t see. When I try to start it, it just freezes for a couple of seconds and then nothing happens. They all worked fine in the previous installation (Mediaportal 0.2.3 something with older version of xface and tv-series)
Anyone who knows what it is?

I'm having the same problem, although I can play most series. But I can't play for example "Related" I even tried to recode it to a different type, but mp just don't want to do it.. I have all the right codecs installed and vlc/mediaplayer work fine.

I was having the exact same problem with the Lost season 5 recap, I had to watch it outside of mp.

I have really no clue what is cousing this problem, can anyone help us?

Can you check your error.log for any information, there might be a clue in that.

I found my problem. MP couldn´t play series with embedded subtitles. Under settings I deleted autoload vobsub and then it worked perfectly.

there wasn't anything interesting in the tvseries log, so it's not in there. Found this in te mediaportal log though

looks like a vobsub problem, but I'm not using any subs for this series

solved, it was also an autoload problem with vobsub. Strange though...
