I have been using MP 1.0.1 in a TV-server / MP-client setup for quite a while and it has been very stable. Then problems started on both clients. The problems seemed to evolve a bit but then where the same for both clients; I couldn't change TV channels anymore.

The first time tuning to a channel selected from the guide would take about 15 seconds, then when going channel up or down the OSD for the new channel would show, the current channel would freeze, end. MP does not crash I could still stop TV, go to the guide and select another channel.

I have tried everything. Including installing 1.0.2 same issue, and 1.1.0 beta same issue.

Please help. Logs to follow in a few minutes.

    I'm dead

I'm a dead man. Installing TV-server 1.1.0 deleted the recorded-TV folder. My family will kill me.

    PS
Why for heavens sake does the installer delete the recorded TV?

    Thanks Gixxer.

I fixed the problem with MP; messed up Windows installation on both my MP clients at the same time. But I'm still dead, the tool didn't find anything deleted on the recorded TV disk ... I better not be around when the kids look for their 300+ GB of recorded TV.

that is very strange. I just did a test and it worked.

Sure you selected the correct drive where the recordings where? Did you move files around in the drive where the recordings where? This could make unable to recover the recordings, if not, they should be there.

good luck, maybe a similar program does find the recordings.

Drive must have been messed up. There was nothing in the directory, but still only 200 of the 500 GB where indicated as free. I'm formatting the drive now.

    Consider it spring clean-up.
