Cannot connect to TV Server (1 Viewer)

    I've just put in a new TV tuner card after one failed.
    In the TV-Server Configuration all is well. It tests and previews.
    In MediaPortal Configuration the field is green and the connection tests fine.

    But in Mediaportal itself it can't find the server (which is the same PC).

    Of possible help is an error when exiting the Configuration tool:

    Unable to open gentle.config.
    Root element is missing
    I've attached the logs

    The problem persists.
    Though it turns out it is recording successfully, I just can't get to the recorded tv screen.
    Attempting to bring up the guide shows an error.

    unable to connect to tv server
    Unable to connect to database
    All IP ports seem to be fine
    [DOUBLEPOST=1384245259][/DOUBLEPOST]Reinstalling MP didn't make any difference.
    But manually replacing gentle.config (exactly as from this thread) did fix it.

    So issue resolved.
