Hello everyone,
in the Importer Settings there is an Option "Allow user to trigger a full rescan from the GIU context menu."

When checked, i cannot find any option in the MediaPortal GUI. Can someone point me to the location of the menu item to trigger a full resan in MP-GUI?

I use the following versions:
Mediaportal v1.3.0 ALPHA
StreamedMP Skin v1.8.0.3157
Moving Pictures v1.3.1.1350

I had this Problem in oder releases of MP, StreamedMP, Moving Pictures too.

Thanks alot.

It seems that StreamedMP didn't implement this action ;)

I just tested it with the DefaultWide skin, and there the option is available in the menu:

    Scan_new_movies.JPG
@ltfearme could this action be added to the menu?

I would check again HomeY as this is a plugin context menu which is not controlled from skin ;)
Stupid me... (I'll just blain it on the fact that men can't multi-task) :)
It's not gonna work if i enable the option in MovPic config on VM, and check the GUI of another MP version......

@mod77 When you're in the MovingPictures plugin, you hit F9 on keyboard (or Info button on remote) and you'll have the option on the bottom of the list ;)

I thought all remotes already had that mapped.

What you want is to map the Action -> "Context Menu", preferably on "All Layers" -> "No Condition" so that it works for everything, though you can of course finetune that to however you want (so a single remote button can be used for different functions under certain conditions).
