One more note: Someone has previously noted in the forums that if this feature isn't possible, how about being able to easily switch between multiple master servers in the MP Client UI. This would be a relatively safe feature and keep at least a few of us affected running.

Neil.

It's a 64 bit PCI thing, apparently.

    sounds like a reasonable compromise

maybe some of the developers can have a look after veriosn 1.0 on it... because I love the idea with master/slave servers

as you can have e.g. have some Hiper Clients , that just can hold one card, to be used as a kind of DVB-S-Server network...

    So just contact me ;-)

As an interim or even addition I like the ability to change the server from within the MP GUI .

The code already exists and so does the skin for selecting the server, 'just' need a button on the main MYTV GUI page to access this.

I say 'just', I do realize there would be code changes and someone who is also very busy with other important code would need to be assigned to this.

    not a good solution

because you always need to know which server is streaming which channel .etc.

I am donating 5000€ when the team is solving this problem after the release of 1.0 ;-)
