Just to be safe, I'll ask again.
Mediaportal should be able to play a Bluray if I

Install Mediaportal, start the configuration program once, but leave the default settings as they are, insert a Bluray, go to Play disc in the Mediaportal, select the Bluray. I really don't have to do more?

    The log still shows the problem with BDReader:
    Code:
    [2023-07-30 18:11:49,293] [Log ] [MPMain ] [DEBUG] - BDPlayer: Add BDReader to graph
    [2023-07-30 18:11:49,315] [Error ] [MPMain ] [ERROR] - BDPlayer: Exception while creating DShow graph Ein Objekt oder ein Name wurde nicht gefunden.

    First, all direct show filters must be registered. If not, then MP will not work correctly. It is difficult to say what is your problem. You can try to install these VC++ packages:
    • Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable
    • Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable
    • Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019 Redistributable

    Also make sure the LAV fitlers are installed.

    Yes it should. Just make sure in the "Codecs and Renderer" section all decoder settings are correct (LAV decoders should be preselected).
    In case of some troubles you can change some configuration in section BluRay -> Bluray/Disc Images Player.

    That still surprised me. When installing MP you can select the LAV filter. I also did that. In the Extension Manager, however, it does not appear when installed on . I then installed it again via the Extension Manager.

    Forgot to mention that you need VC++ x86 version - becouse you running x86 MP. VC++ x64 is for x64 applications.

    Thiese files which are not on my machine , how i can get these ?
    What you mean by that? Which files?

    i have now installed the x64 version, i didn't even realize that i had previously installed an x86 version. on the german site, i don't think there is a choice of x64 or x86 either. I also installed the MS visual c++ in the x64 version beforehand, since I have a win 10 x64. unfortunately it doesn't work either.

    With the files I mean the files that are not found with install filter
