  1. I've followed the guide to get EPG working using http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/1_..._TV_Setup/4_TV_Guide_Setup_(EPG)/XMLTV_mc2xml I've mapped the guide channels to the respective virtual channel number. However it looks as though the tv guide in Media portal is showing the channels in the incorrect order. Channels on the epg seems to be showing whatever the id # is in tv server config. Any suggestions on this...

Channel order is set per channel group in the TV (or Radio) Channels section of TV Server configuration.

To be clear, I'm not talking about the first tab. I'm talking about the other tabs. Each one of those tabs is a channel group. You set the channel order in there. And you can have as many groups as you want, with whatever order you like.

I'm constantly getting an error when trying to play any of the channels either through the client or whenever I try to preview the channels. There is unknown (no error code is given). the error logs are listed below. I think it's an issue with the CableCard. Can anyone help me diagnose the issue. Unfortunately I can't read these error logs.

    Thanks

    Hello again

    Here's the relevant log entry:
    [2015-10-03 18:10:54,548] [Log ] [5 ] [INFO ] - dvb: RunGraph returns: 0xFFFFFFFE

This means that TV Server is not receiving the stream from your tuner. I'm not able to give any more detail than that because you didn't include the MPIPTVSource log.

    Regards,
    mm

    Thank you.
I can't see any explanation for the problem in that log file, so I can only assume that the CableCARD (or tuner) are at fault as you said. Unfortunately I'm not able to diagnose issues with CableCARDs. You'd have to contact Ceton or your cable provider for that.

Before you do that, I do have a couple of questions...

Have you installed the patch from here? (If not, you should.)
Why does your PC have 2 NICs (network connections), and what are they used for?
