I have a problem wich a was not able to solve by myself (sorry for my terrible english).
The problem is that i'm not able to reach the webmp over the internet.
On my server computer, or other computers within my network, i can reach the webmp. So the program works. But when i try to reach it on the internet i'm not able and i get the message: could not connect to: dabrain.homeserver.com:4365 (i use a whs2011 machine).
I did change the port from 8080 to 4365 because 8080 is used by another program. I also dit a forward on my router (did check it), and i also make a firewal exception on my pc.

I added my logs.

I hope to find a solution because i love this program

thanx

You have given your server the name dabrain.homeserver.com? Then you need to make sure that you are the owner of the domain homeserver.com publicly on the Internet to be able to use DNS names...and that the www pointer is directing traffic towards your public IP on your router.
If you are not the owner of homeserver.com and that name is only used internally on your local network you have to connect with http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:4365, where xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is your public IP on your internet connection.
Hope this will help you in the right direction.

If i try this it with my public IP, I'm also not able to connect to my webmp. The domain homeserver.com is a domain owned by microsoft. When you have a windows home server, you can get/make an adres like: xxxxx.homeserver.com.

I'm able to connect to dabrain.homeserver.com with another port used by another program, so it works, but not with webmp.....

I think your problem is that you try to reach it using the domain from inside your network. I can access WebMP on the URL you gave without any problems. Unfortunately, port forwards only work one-way, so you'll have to keep using the local IP address from your home.

It might be possible to configure this differently in WHS, but I've no idea how to do that.

That error in the logs and the external IP address setting in the configuration are completely unrelated to this.

He doesn't need to own homeserver.com, just being able to configure dabrain.homeserver.com is enough.

@Oxan I'm not trying to acces the url from inside my network. (i'm on my work now and it does not work) I even try it from my cell phone over 3g and it does not work. I don't understand why you can reach my webmp. but it's good news, that's mean it does work:). But I still don't know why i can't reach my WebMP

I can also confirm you that your URL is reachable without problem! Which browser are you using? Have you try an other?
