Dear all,
I have a very strange problem with my new FloppyDTV S2: I cannot see CCTV4 (and a few other channels) on MyTV (black screen or, sometimes, just a frozen frame) but on the TV-Server preview is OK (Audio & video are perfect). Any ideas? I tried to change the video codec on MediaPortal configuration but nothing changed.
Many thanks in advance.
Best regards,
Rusko

PS: logs are collected after watching CCTV9 and CCTV4 on TV-Service preview (both working) and then on MP (CCTV9 working, CCTV4 dead).
Logs show also another problem: at boot tv-service stops working... EDIT : disappeared after reinstall).
Pleeeeease heeeeelp...

EDIT: never mind... fixed (just a matter of codec).

Well... almost fixed...
I found the problem is the MPEG/AC3 audio decoder setting: not working with ffdshow, working with M$ MPEG-1/DD Audio Decoder.
Now the problem is: seems M$ MPEG-1/DD Audio Decoder is available only for Vista, so the new HTPC (with Vista) is OK. The old HTPC runs XP and I did't find any similar codec for XP... The configuration panel gives me only two choices: ffdshow and "MPC-MPA Decoder filter" (but not working with both of them).
I tried the ac3filter but what a mess: CCTV4 is working but on the other hand in any movie with double audio (avi or mkv) I hear the two tracks mixed up.
What can I do? Please help....!

FFDShow audio config\codecs, change MP1\MP2 to libavcodec, should now work.
Many thanks for your help! MP1/MP2 gives me choice between mp3lib and libmad only, I tried with mp3lib and IS WORKING!!!!! :D

@samo_yea: Thanks, I will try. But I prefer to solve my problem without installing another codec (if possible).

Ciao!
Rusko
