    Dear all,

Because of a complete system crash, I had to reinstall .NET, MSSQL, mediaportal and TV sever this week. Of course I downloaded the latest versions of everything.. TV server of Monday, Mediaportal SVN of yesterday)

So after scanning the TV channels I wanted to watch National Geographic Channel HD, but to my regret that was not shown in the list of TV channels anynore.. While I used the transponderlist of 9 Januari, that worked OK two weeks ago (all channels including H264 HD channels found and able to watch)..

Doing some research I found out that ALL HD channels using H264 codec are now not found (Film1, Sport1, Brava HD, NL-HD..may be more I am not aware of). I allready asked the provider for an updated transponderlist, but that seems to be OK (Multikabel Transponderlist 9 Januari 2008 is the last one).. however with the last row (24) TV server cant find anything (red text, "No channels Found") This last row in the transponderlist is as follows:

    826000,64QAM,6875000

I start to wonder this is a Mediaportal TV server, or Mediaportal problem, suddenly not supporting HD TV in H264 anymore?? If this is true, I am very disapointed!

Anybody else has this problem, not able to receive live HD-TV anymore (which use H264)?

I noticed that Discovery HD is found and I can watch this channel, but this is using Mpeg2 codec, not H264 (checked with Graphedit)

So what is going on here? Any ideas how to solve? I set everything as I did before the system crash (all hardware accelleration ON, EVR ON, codecs all the same etc.) and YES I am allowed o watch these channels, since I am still in the trial period of Multikabel (two months) where all channels are watcheable.

    Thanks,

    Lots

TvServer of Monday had many bugs.
Please use the snapshot from today.
If it's not there already then be patient - it's on the way :)

OK! I will try tonight!.. this means a complete reinstall of TV sever, right? Thanks anyways, I have the feeling this is indeed a bug of mediapotal TV Server, since other people do not seem to have problems with the transponderlist using other software.

    Thanks a lot,

Yep, just uninstall your current version and install the latest snapshot but you won't loose any data so it's just a matter of 2 minutes.

Installed the last snapshot of the TV server, did a rescan with the januari 9 Multikabel transponder list, and all channels are now found and can watch NGC-HD again!

Thanks goes to mr GEMX !:D

This means the transponderlist was OK from the start, it was the software that was seriously gone heywire!
