cant open mytvseries (or moving pics) config page directly anymore? (1 Viewer)

i had a shortcut made which was this:

target = "C:\Program Files\Windows Media Connect 2\wmccds.exe" /plugin="C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\plugins\Windows\MP-TVSeries.dll"
start in = "C:\Program Files\Windows Media Connect 2"

which opened the my-tvseries config page directly without needing to open the main MP config page, this also worked for moving pictures. however since upgrading to the latest and greatest via the streamedMP installer, i cant get these shortcuts to work anymore even though the files exist in the above location.

i double click and it does nothing, have tried recopying the shortcut from another machine which i've not yet upgraded and that works no problem.

i like the look of the new version but use the direct access to the config pages quite a lot so its a hassle to go back to the old ways. any help on what i'm doing wrong, please?

You are/were using the wrong program to launch the config screen. MediaPortal comes with its own tool to do this with, so the command I use myself is:

"%ProgramFiles%\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\PluginConfigLoader.exe" /plugin="%ProgramFiles%\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\plugins\Windows\MP-TVSeries.dll"​

Paths might be different for you, depending on your OS, but you get the idea. If you get an error and are on 64-bit, then be sure to get the patched PluginConfigLoader.exe version that you can find on this forum as well.

odd, i cant find that PluginConfigLoader.exe file anywhere on my C: drive (which is where MP and its plugins are installed), do you have a link to the 32bit version of the EXE?

Its installed by the MP-TVSeries installer, download the latest release and it will install it for you.
