Hi,

I have been using the live TV function for many months, no change to my system. Microsoft Windows update on 5/11 but I have used the system since then.
Now I can't get any Live TV and TV-Server Config has the following error on startup

I'm using internal Hauppage tuner cards. Tried rebooting with no luck.
This machine is a server but I also have a client on it for testing and that is what I'm referring to.
Running ver 1.15.

P.S. Long story but when I installed these tuner cards from another PC running media center the latest Win 7 drivers on hauppage would not work. I had saved the older working driver but fully updated windows 7 would not allow me to install it. So I had to reinstall windows and before applying all updates, I installed the old driver. This allowed the tuner drivers to function. It looks like the drivers are now the latest from hauppage so they may have auto updated. However my tuner cards are reporting no driver issues. Driver version is 7.9.1.34216.

I was getting the same error, and fixed it with the above link. However now I'm getting the below error:

The TV service gets stuck in starting state.
...then it's no wonder TV Server Config can't start. The screenshot in your previous reply is basically TV Server Config's way of saying "I can't connect to the TV service - panic panic PANIC!".

What would suggest I next try?
Focus on figuring out why the TV service isn't starting successfully. If you feel unable to figure that out yourself, provide log files for other people to analyse on your behalf.

Thanks for trying... but these are no good for me.
Please zip [together] then attach ("upload a file") all the TV Server log files. In other words: I'm asking for one zip file containing all the TV Server log files.

Wow, you really have managed to mess up your installation there - good and proper.
It's not going to be time-efficient for me to explain how to fix what you have going on there.
    Your options are:
    1. Run up a TeamViewer session and ask me to connect and fix up the mess. I'll be happy to help with this.
    2. Do a complete MP and MySQL uninstallation and clean up (ie. delete all databases) and start over.
