[Question] Can't stream movies/ music (1 Viewer)

heyho,

I think I'm just too dumb.
TV streaming works fine, but if i try to browse my movie database it's empty. So Mediaportal itself finds the videos, but I can't find them with WebMediaportal.
How can I fix it?

Have you configured WebMediaPortal to use the MP Videos database instead of MovingPictures on the settings page?

In any case, if it still doesn't work, it'll be useful if you could post your logs.

It says MPVideo.

Where do I find them?

Ah got it. I used the database tool iplemented in MediaPortal Configuration and added the omvies there. Now it works.
Now i have to find out which straming method works on my ipad...

Streaming method "Proxied" with an HTTP Live Streaming profile should work.

One more question. As I read it's possible to access the Web Mediaportal installation via internet. I Have to aciavte this feature, don't I? Cause I'm a bit afraid of hacker

Yes, you've to manually configure your router to enable that.
