Cant watch a DVB-S2 HD channel while recording from another (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

I'm running MP1.2.2 with dj blu's custom sky data grabber and the mD@P! plugin. I have two dvb-s2 tv cards - a TBS 8920 single tuner and a 6921 dual tuner. I currently have one cable in each (waiting for third cable for the 6921), connected to my quad LNB sky dish.

I cant record from one hd channel while another is recording - I get a "NO SIGNAL" error when trying to tune to any hd channel, but can timeshift sd channels just fine.

Anyone have any clue why this might be happening?

What are you using to decode the Sky channels? Have you tried with two FTA HD channels that are on different transponders (e.g. BBC HD and Channel 4 HD)?

I'm using the md@pi filters to decode the channels. I suspect it may be my quad lnb setup that may be messing things up as I only have two cables hooked up to it so far.can you explain the transponder thing to me? will try the channels you suggest
