Hi, I tried to activate my tv-card this week, all went well untill I tried to preview a channel.
Scanning goes well and no problems with that, all channels are present; but than trying to preview gives the following message: NoVideoAudioDetected. strange. Does somebody knows what the problem is, or are those cards just not supported yet? (allthough it is stated in the wiki that they are) The channels aren't watchable in mediaportel either.

I included log-files for the tv-server.
Greetings, ray076NL

Hi,

I have the same problem with the HVR900 (analog part) although it's supposed to work.

Thanks for your answer.
It just should work, it stands in the wiki that those cards are supported by the tv-server.
I guess it is the tv-server that's buggy (no offense to the programmers), in some way it doesn't do what it is supposed to do and somewhere something is going wrong.

I can offer one of my cards for testing purposes to one of the programmers here, if they want to.

I had the same problem and played around with my codecs, I currently have mpa and mpv decoders and I now I get a great picture.

However, I am stuck on channel switching now though - "cannot start timeshift card in use". I start up tv as normal, begin watching a channel but then when i change I get that error and it stays on the same channel...

So, yeah have a play with your codecs and see if that does anything. I selected a codec, tested and if it didn't work i selected another until i found the ones that worked - mpa and mpv...

Hope this helps
