I have a couple old VHS I want to convert over too. I assume it will be as easy as just hooking up the VHS box to one of the tuners, fire up the TV server console, change to the channel the VHS broadcasts on (3 or 4), hit play on the VHS, hit record on the console. Then use favorite software to convert the TS and/or burn to DVD. And there are other ways. Like mail to a service which will do the work for you, for a fee. Or there is software you can buy to help with this, which usually includes a "black box" which you connect to the VHS and to the PC via USB. Try a google search for more.

Certainly the vintage MP2 installer that I was using no longer installs the LAV filters. I can only assume that these were never part of the install package itself, but rather downloaded during the install, and that link no longer exists. Shame that the installer doesn't indicate this.
