Hi all,
When I enable dynamic contrast in ccc 8.11 and play a video in MP, if I try to exit to a menu while the video is still playing MP freezes and I have to end it manually via task manager. In my book it's really an ATI driver bug but I report it anyway since it's not documented elsewhere.

This is becoming a nice trend, ATI breaks their drivers on every release :)

YES! with every release they break something. I can confirm the same issues the MPC HC guys having ...
it either crashes in atiumdva.dll or blank screen with EVR and HW acceleration enabled.

I am so mad at this ATI driver development people. Do they do any testing at all ??

I wish we would have an alternative ... that is my x-mas wish for this year.... AND that they will fix it in 8.12 !!

I can confirm that catalyst 8.12 final don't suffer from this issue.

@ Spragleknas: I got it late at night from Ati
