Ceton InfiniTV4 multi tuner record and watch another channel? (1 Viewer)

so...if i'm on the computer that actually has the Ceton 4 tuners...why can't I record one channel and watch another which would make use of all my tuners. is this functionality not supported by Mediaportal?

I'd double check that you have the channels mapped to all the tuners, see http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/1_...Server_Configuration/03_TV_Channels/2_Mapping

oh wow...i feel like a dufus. i thought i only had to scan once on one of the four tuners and the same channels would be available on all 4.

scanning on each now. this should probably fix that... Thanks!

you don't need to scan each, just use the "mapping" to add all channels to all 4 tuners, while your at it, double check that the recording folders and timeshift folders for all 4 tuners are set the way you want
