Hi folks,

I've recently relocated to Spain from the UK and used to watch TV via satellite. Recently the satellite feed has been turned off so now all I have is digital Spanish TV, and I don't speak Spanish!

I know that UK/US programs are frequently transmitted with both Spanish and English audio streams and when using my TV directly I can switch between the two audio streams when I need to using the remote control for the TV.

I've tried setting the preferred language in the TV settings in Mediaportal to English, but when I use Mediaportal to watch the TV I still only get the Spanish audio stream. Is there any other way to change the audio stream so I can get English audio?

One thing I did notice when changing the audio streams directly on my TV - the two options were "Spanish" and "Unknown". When I pick the "Unknown" I get English or whatever was the original language.

Thanks - hope someone can help.

Press "a" to switch audio streams, or use the right-click/F9 context menu.

That is why setting "eng" as your preference doesn't work. MP doesn't recognise the UNK track as English.
