Just so we have some comparison, how quick is the manufacturers software at changing channels.

Also are we talking about FTA or encrypted channel changes.

I'll have to check on the 'manufacturers software'. All channels are encrypted in my log files

So this might be a card issue...

The delay is likely due to the plug-in you are using for decryption. Remove the decryption plug-in and try the free-to-air channels if there are any. I bet it tunes faster that way.
