I am having a problem with channel changing and the new TV engine. I have tested various versions intermittently and am currently using the latest release. My problem is on changing channels. Sometimes I can change change with no problem usually if I have just turned on the TV.
However, after watching TV for a period of time or changing channels frequently I get problems where either the picture will freeze despite the audio continuing, or the stream will skip backwards before changing the channel. The client also seems to struggle to change channel if you have paused the stream and then try and change the channel while the stream is still behind time.
I have tried different codecs and experience problems with all of them. The MPV/Dscaler ones have a problem sooner than the nVidia codec.
Is anybody else having these problems?
Great work on the engine so far, it has come a long way since October.
