Every once and a while the TVGuide stops working. Every time it turns out that the channel mapping is lost. Simply redoing and saving the mapping solves the problem.

Today, when solving this once more, I noticed that the last time the guide was reported imported and failed was at the exact same time that the current TVguide.xml file was written.

Is that where the problem lies? The TVserver tries to read the TVguide.xml file, but cannot access it because it is being written by mce2xml at the time and then something breaks.

Exactly the same thing happened again last week.

Should it not be made possible to set the frequency or even a specific time to check for a new xmltv file, rather than doing so every minute. With a daily update it checks 1440 times for every real update, 99.93% of the resource is waisted.

I have the exact same issue with one of my channels. It seems that whenever a new tvguide.xml is written, I lose just one channel mapping. I've always just remapped the channel, but it's caused me to miss recordings. I've also deleted the channel, re-scanned and readded it, then remapped. It's so weird that it only happens with one channel. Any ideas what's going on? I'll post logs next time it happens, but I don't think the logs show anything.

Now that is interesting. I suddenly lost all the mappings for my channels. By that I mean that all the channels suddenly showed they were not mapped to any tuner card. And now I can't add them back. Strange indeed.

I have the same problem, any quick tips for that?
